My parents
My final post had to be about the most important people in my life: my parents. They celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on November 26th, which shows their enduring love and commitment. They have deeply influenced me, shaping who I am and the values I hold.
Throughout my life, my parents have been my pillars of support for both my brother and me. I find comfort in knowing that I can always count on them, no matter what. Their relationship serves as a beautiful example of love and devotion, inspiring me to cultivate strong connections in my life.
The distance that separates us has not diminished the bond we share. I think it has improved it. Talking to my parents frequently is a gift. I love telling them about everything happening in my life, seeking their guidance, and sharing my joys and struggles. This connection is my source of strength.
I attribute my identity and values to my parents. Respect, kindness, and family are the core values they have taught me by their example. This goes beyond words; it is reflected in the way they treat each other and those around them. Witnessing their commitment to these values has left an everlasting mark on me.
They have taught me a lot about constancy and effort, which is a lesson they exemplify daily. Their journey together, marked by perseverance and shared goals, has become a guiding light. I understand that to achieve something meaningful, I must be willing to put in the hard work and earn it.
As my parents mark another year of being together, I celebrate the profound impact they have had on my life. Their love, wisdom, and the values they have taught me have shaped me into the person I am today. I am grateful for the foundation they have laid and the support they provide. In them, I find not just parents but also mentors and friends.
