My friend Teresa
One of my best friends is called Teresa, and we've been friends since we were just 4 years old. We know each other so well that I can easily say she knows me better than any of my other friends.
What makes Teresa so special is that she is the only friend I feel comfortable telling anything. She is the one who hears it all. She is the one friend who knows what dreams make my heart race. We have the same kind of personality so there's this unspoken understanding between us. We are like two peas in a pod.
The coolest thing about our friendship is that a few years ago she moved to the apartment just above mine. My best friend is right there, just a staircase away. We can meet up whenever we want, and it feels like she never really left. Our fun fact is that even though we have been friends for so long, we only have three photos together. When we are together, we have so many things to talk about that we always forget.
Teresa and I have this bond that goes beyond just being friends; it is like having a sister. We have seen each other from playground adventures to navigating the ups and downs of growing up. Our memories are a treasure of shared laughter, secrets, and those quiet moments when words are not necessary.
Life is a journey, and having Teresa by my side makes the path a lot more fun and meaningful. She is not just a friend; she is a constant in my ever-changing world. Our friendship is a reminder that distance can't break friendships.
In the story of my life, Teresa is the friend who knows me best, understands me like no one else, and, luckily, lives just a staircase away.
